Author Chris Lin Launches Unique Children's Books to Teach Chinese; Mandy and Pandy Books Integrate Learning With Entertainment.

That's the realization that came to Author Chris Lin who has launched a series of learning children's books, called Mandy and Pandy pan·dy

Mandy and Pandy is dedicated to children who want to learn Chinese, and parents who want to teach their children the language. Young children will find a fun and easy way to learn the language. The book emphasizes pronunciation with assistance from a CD, which records the book spoken by a Chinese Mandarin teacher. The book is filled with vibrant pages, and the Mandy and Pandy dolls are an enjoyable bonus.

Lin is a new author who has traveled and worked around the world. As an American-born Taiwanese, he attended Chinese school In Western countries, a Chinese school is a school established explicitly for the purpose of teaching the Chinese language (of the various Chinese dialects, nowadays Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese Chinese are almost always the ones taught) to American-born Chinese (ABC),  as a child and studied Chinese in Beijing. Later he worked in global marketing departments for major automotive companies.

All of his experiences and inspiration to write children's books came together when he adopted his daughter Amanda from an orphanage ORPHANAGE, Eng. law. By the custom of London, when a freeman of that city dies, his estate is divided into three parts, as follows: one third part to the widow; another, to the children advanced by him in his lifetime, which is called the orphanage; and the other third part may be by him  in China. He wanted to help her understand her culture and language. And now he's sharing those lessons through Mandy and Pandy book series.
