Author Annabel's fun baking break.

LEADING author and children's food expert Annabel Karmel MBE will be taking a break at Haven's Combe Haven Holiday Park, near Hastings in Sussex, in September.

She'll be helping children make cup cakes and cookies and showing mums and dads how rustle up delicious and nutritious meals that will appeal to kids and the whole family.

Aimed at tots and toddlers, the break starts on Monday September 22.

The break coincides with a birthday party for Anxious the Elephant and stage-show friends Polly and Naughty Ned will be helping to bake too!

After a morning rustling up tasty cakes and biscuits everyone will be invited to Anxious' party in the afternoon - with party games, dancing and of course a chance to eat the treats.

The break will include ll sorts of other fun activities for little ones.

As well as Haven's own popular Wake and Shake sessions there will be a free Tumble Tots session to develop agility, balance and co-ordination and a free goody bag with a swim nappy to help encourage youngsters into the water.

Haven's Water Tots sessions and Learn2Swim lessons have proved hugely successful with around 90,000 children of all ages taking part and improving their skills and confidence in the water.

To really get the message across about water safety, the RNLI will be visiting the park to provide extra guidance about keeping your child safe in and around the water.

Other activities will include a Bonny Baby competition, a puppet show and a lively stage-show with Rory the Tiger and his friends in a new role as eco-super-heroes.

The break costs from pounds 129 per family.
