Authentium Opens Hong Kong Office; Co-Founder Phil Braden to Expand Company's Presence in Asia-Pacific.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Authentium, Inc., the leading provider of extensible security software technologies and service platforms, today announced its expansion in Asia-Pacific with the opening of its new office in Hong Kong, China. The company also announced that co-founder Phil Braden will serve as managing director of its Asia-Pacific operations. Braden has been a director at Authentium since its founding in 2000. Most recently, he was chairman & CEO of the Orbital Recovery Group, an aerospace technology company. He also served as CEO of Mindport USA, a cable and satellite infrastructure provider based in San Diego, California. Past executive leadership roles include executive vice president at the Orbit Group in Rome, the world's first digital MPEG satellite television broadcaster. Braden was also vice president of Broadcast Operations and Engineering at STAR TV, Asia's first and largest satellite TV broadcaster, where he was responsible for ground up design, procurement, installation and recruitment of all infrastructure required to bring the station to air.
