also be expired at any time, no matter where they are located.

-- Ease of use: PageRecall plugs into Adobe Acrobat and Reader to

provide an intuitive method for protecting and viewing

documents for both internal and external users.

-- Page-Level Policy Control: Individual document pages can have

different policies. For example, page one may allow guest

access (no authentication required), but further access

requires recipients to authenticate. This feature provides an

additional layer of security since only one page is decrypted

at any time.

-- Document Revision Control: Organizations can automatically

expire old versions of documents to ensure that users are

always accessing the most current version.

-- Watermarking: PageRecall can automatically insert the

authorized viewer's name and the date into the header of the

document, providing further disincentive for users with

printing privileges to distribute hard copies of the content.

-- Detailed Audit Trail: Organizations can see which document

pages were viewed, by whom, when, from where, for how long,

and whether they were printed. PageRecall's audit trail even

tracks the activity of individuals who attempt to access

documents without authorization.

PageRecall 3.1 increases this functionality with new features including:

-- Distributed policy management flexibility: Enables authors to

protect and manage their own document policies right from

their desktops.

-- Support for Single Sign-On authentication: Allows users to

protect and view PageRecall-protected documents without

requiring additional authentication steps.

-- Fast Web viewing: The initial pages of PageRecall documents

streamed to a Web browser may be viewed without waiting for

the entire document to download, making low bandwidth

environments more productive.

-- Enhanced certificate integration with government environments:

PageRecall easily integrates with client-side certificates

configured within users' Web browsers to ensure seamless

integration with existing PKI infrastructures, especially

implementations in the U.S. government.

-- Screen capture applications defeated: The unauthorized viewing

of protected documents has been made more challenging by

preventing screen capture applications from working.

-- Support for Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) added: Provides

stronger encryption for higher levels of classified data and

supports U.S. government accreditation criteria.

-- Multiple deployment options: In addition to desktop protection

of documents, organizations can automatically protect

documents attached to e-mail or produced from other

applications.
