How It Works

PageRecall for Sun Solaris consists of the PageRecall plug-in and a Recall(TM) Policy Server. The PageRecall plug-in resides on Sun Solaris clients and enables users to encrypt and view documents, manage the associated policies and track all activity. PageRecall encrypts each individual page and then registers the decryption keys with the Recall Policy Server. The Policy Server manages all PageRecall policy activity including keys, client connections, information access policies, authentication, authorization and event logging. When users connect to the Policy Server to open protected documents, they must prove their identity through the server's request for authentication.
