Veteran technology sales executive John O. Wilkerson has joined Seattle-based Authentic8 Inc. as Executive Vice President of Sales, Services and Business Development.

Authentic8(tm) is a software company pioneering the use of smart card and public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies to address and solve e-business security issues, and help create trust in the electronic exchange of data.

Wilkerson is responsible for creating and managing a worldwide sales organization that will bring Authentic8 products and technologies into large enterprise and e-business environments, where trust and authentication are increasingly critical requirements. In addition, he will play a key role in developing strategic relationships with vendors and resellers in complementary market sectors.

Wilkerson is recognized throughout the information technology industry and has lead numerous sales, marketing, and management teams and organizations in his 19 years with such industry giants as Baan Company, Oracle Corporation, Computer Resources International, Inc. (CRI), and IBM. He was repeatedly recognized by these organizations for his outstanding contributions to corporate coffers, and his inspired leadership of the sales teams he managed. Wilkerson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Seattle Pacific University.
