AuthentiDate Releases Updated Version of USPS Electronic Postmark Service.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- AuthentiDate Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: ADAT) today announced that the United States Postal Service has approved an updated version of the USPS Electronic Postmark(R) (USPS EPM) Service. The new version offers enhancements including an optional return-receipt capability that allows users to track delivery and acceptance of electronic content. In addition, users can now sign-up for a USPS EPM Service account using a username and password, eliminating the need to use digital certificates.

Since October 2003, the USPS EPM has enabled users to electronically sign a Microsoft(R) Word 2000, Word 2002 (XP) or Word 2003 document, seal the electronic content, apply a NIST-based time/date stamp, and verify the validity, authenticity and integrity of a Word document online.
