AuthentiDate International AG Awarded German Internet Prize 2004.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. & DUESSELDORF, Germany -- AuthentiDate Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:ADAT) announced today that its subsidiary, AuthentiDate International, AG has been awarded the German Internet Prize 2004 in Category A, "Integrated Value Chains".

The award was part of the recent annual congress of INITI@TIVE D21, an initiative which is jointly supported by industry and the federal government. Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder presented the awards which included a $60,000 cash prize. The prize is awarded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour (BMWA) together with sponsors from industry, and is specifically aimed at small and medium-sized companies. It honors innovative and successful Internet solutions to optimize business processes, encourage customer satisfaction, increase sales and achieve cost advantages. A total of 508 companies took part in this year's competition.
