Rudd, Treasurer Wayne Swan Wayne Maxwell Swan (born 30 June 1954), Australian politician, has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives from March 1993 to March 1996 and again since October 1998, representing the Division of Lilley, Queensland.  and opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull Malcolm Bligh Turnbull (born 24 October 1954), Australian politician, is the Federal Minister for Environment and Water Resources. He is a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives, representing the Division of Wentworth in Sydney's eastern suburbs since October  have all heard calls for their resignation over the row since Grech gave evidence last week.

Turnbull accuses Rudd of helping a car-dealer friend seek government funds and then lying to parliament about it, basing his case on the email supposedly sent by the prime minister's adviser.

Rudd in turn accuses Turnbull of involvement in the forgery and says he should resign. The car dealer, John Grant, has lent the prime minister a "ute" -- the two-seater workman's utility vehicle ubiquitous in Australia -- for use in his constituency.
