Eades, an American who immigrated to Australia two years ago on a business visa, said Firesight was developed in response to the Canberra ACT fires which destroyed vast amounts of the territories' infrastructure and left twenty thousand residents without power, gas and telephone service for weeks on end.

This is not a problem unique to Australia said Eades a native Californian; it's a global issue and a problem that cost billions of dollars every year. Without power, gas, water, sewerage sewerage, system for the removal and disposal of chiefly liquid wastes and of rainwater, which are collectively called sewage. The average person in the industrialized world produces between 60 and 140 gallons of sewage per day.  and communications all cease, these are our community's most vital and essential services and until now there just haven't been any solutions.

Firesight is also releasing several large scale systems that can be monitored and activated remotely for mobile telephone towers and chemical storage facilities.

Firesighter is awaiting CSIRO CSIRO Commonwealth Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (Australia)  certification and will be available to public and privately held energy companies on a term lease basis. The company also acknowledges that in a recent survey conducted by Quantum Market Research consumers support nominal rate increase for its adaptation.
