Australia bat in fifth one-dayer against India


Australian captain Ricky Ponting Ricky Thomas Ponting (born December 19 1974, in Launceston, Tasmania) is an Australian cricketer and current captain of the Australia national cricket team (for both One-Day International and Test cricket).  won the toss and elected to bat in the fifth one-day international

Australia, who had only 13 fit players to choose from after five were sent home due to injuries, brought in newcomer Clint McKay, Adam Voges and Ben Hilfenhaus in place of Mitchell Johnson, Moises Henriques and Peter Siddle.
