Australia 2005 IR Awards Nominees Announced; Awards to be Presented September 21 in Sydney.

Sydney, Australia, Sept 19, 2005 - (JCN Newswire) - The sixth annual IR Magazine Australia Awards, hosted by IR Magazine in association with Computershare, will take place on Wednesday, September 21 at the Westin Sydney.

The awards are based on an annual independent survey of the investment community to identify those companies considered to be leading exponents of investor relations in the UK. The research, conducted for the fifth year by the Financial Research Company, also investigates contemporary developments affecting the IR profession.

Additionally, there will be an Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) conference in association with IR magazine during the day, prior to the evening awards ceremony. The conference will comprise plenary sessions, streamed breakout discussions and expert presentations on the most pressing issues and challenges facing today's IRO.

The awards are in association with Computershare, and co-sponsored by AAP MediaNet, ACN Newswire, Armstrong Miller + McLaren, Australian Stock Exchange, boardroomradio, Citibank, Georgeson Shareholder Communications, Orient Capital, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sky News Australia, Thomson STREAMX and World Television.
