Austin Internet Gaming Company Could Be Next "Origin" With Proposed Joint-Venture.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 1998--Austin, Texas based gaming software development company, Asimilated Logic Technology and a local major Internet service provider, Jump Point Communications are contemplating a joint-venture. "Game players on the Internet are about to get what they have been looking for, a new multi-player, 3-D interactive game on the Internet -- in a real time environment," said Peter Des Camps, President of Golf Financial Services of Austin, Texas. Golf Financial Services, an Austin-based mergers and acquisitions company, has brought the two companies together to compete with ORIGIN, also of Austin, Texas.

According to Des Camps, "I have seen what is on the Internet, and heard the response to problems faced by game players. For approximately the same price, our client is able to provide a game to players where they can play in an environment that keeps you on the edge of your seat with no visual delays or loss of interest. You can't stop playing."

Asimilated Logic Technology is a one-year old company specializing in the design and development of multi-user, on-line gaming programs. They have been seeking capital to complete a BETA version program allowing individual users to interact in a 3-D game environment on the Internet. Owner Richard Belles said, "With the finished product version so close to completion, it was difficult to realize we were running out of money. Considering a partnership with Jump Point is a strategic move which would satisfy our user requirements and accelerate our position in the marketplace."

Jump Point Communications is a three-year-old Internet solutions company, which brings Internet connectivity and service to the table. The combination of these two areas of expertise creates break-through technology and problem-solving solutions within the computer gaming industry.

According to Des Camps, "Creating a game is one thing, servicing the end-user needs is another. This relationship will accomplish both -- from the beginning. Revenue forecasts from the proposed venture could be explosive. A public offering has been considered for the distant future, alerting potential investors to get in now. This deal bears watching."
