Austin Game Conference Surpasses Attendance Expectations; More Than 2400 Participants Take Part in AGC.


AUSTIN, Texas -- The Game Initiative, the leading producer of conferences and events for game industry professionals, announced final attendance numbers today for last week's Austin Game Conference. More than 2,400 game industry professionals from 20 countries and representing over 520 companies converged upon the Austin Convention Center Austin Convention Center is a multi-purpose convention center located in Austin, Texas, USA. The building is also home to the Austin Toros basketball team with a seating capacity of 3,200. , September 6-7-8, for three days of high-caliber speakers, news-making exhibitors, and networking events.

In its 4th year, the Austin Game Conference continues to grow in both content and industry participation. The conference expanded from two to three days to incorporate more speakers and sessions into the conference program. More than 40 game developers presented their projects to leading publishers such as Capcom Entertainment, Game Trust, Inc., Comcast, Stardock Entertainment, NCsoft, GoPets Inc., PlayFirst, Majesco Entertainment Majesco Entertainment is a video game publisher founded in 1986.
