Austin Chapter presents its first scholarship. (Chapter News).TEI's Austin Chapter recently presented its first scholarship to a deserving recipient of Southwest Texas University. On November 14, a $1,000 was presented to Felichia Johnson, a senior accounting major, who is going into the integrated program and will receive her Masters of Accountancy in May 2004. She is the President of the Accounting Club, and member of Beta Alpha Psi BAΨ (Beta Alpha Psi) is an honorary organization for accounting, finance and information systems students and professionals. The Austin Chapter was chartered in September 2000 and one of the primary fiscal goals was to be able to fund scholarships for local area university students. The chapter developed its scholarship guidelines based on TEI 1. (communications) TEI - Terminal Endpoint Identifier. 2. (text, project) TEI - Text Encoding Initiative. National criteria, adopted them on May 30, 2002, and had them formally adopted by TEI National on June 12, 2002.
