Melbourne Australia's Singer-Songwriter Receives Product Support from Cosmetic Line

Since winning a Hollywood Music Award for "Best Adult Contemporary Artist", Melbourne Australia's singer-songwriter Jessie Sparks' (www.JessieSparks.com) career has been in high drive. M.A.C Cosmetics (www.maccosmetics.com) has provided Sparks with makeup to wear on tour. Being a huge fan of their products and their community outreach programs, Sparks is thrilled to work with M.A.C and will proudly sport their cosmetics at her shows and events.

"I am really excited about receiving products from M.A.C. Honestly, I am so impressed by the company's charitable efforts, with their Good Spirits campaign providing free public service for men and women living with HIV/AIDS. I love that such a 'good-looking' company can send a global message and bring awareness and support to such an overwhelming disease," says Sparks. "And, of course, I am absolutely thrilled to be taking M.A.C on the road with me when touring in the U.S.!"

Jennifer Lyneis of Ue3 Promotions, who oversees corporate sponsorships and Film/TV placement for Sparks, is also elated about support from M.A.C.

"I'm extremely excited about the makeup M.A.C has offered Jessie Sparks! They have an impressive charity component to their company, as they are a significant supporter of the HIV/AIDS initiative. I always encourage all artists I work with to brand with a company who gives back to the community."

Sparks' soulful, guitar driven "Bended Knee," in which she received a Hollywood Music Award nomination for "Best Female Vocal," will be included in episode 11 of "Rad Girls TV" airing exclusively on MAVTV.com in March.

Sparks' career has been in serious overdrive since the release of her critically acclaimed indie debut Breathe Easy in Australia last year. Now, the album John Carver of PBS Radio calls "seductive, intelligent and engrossing"--and whose raw power has earned comparisons of Sparks to everyone from PJ Harvey to Norah Jones--is available at U.S. retail outlets for the first time. She recently won "Best Adult Contemporary Artist" for her song "Walk A Mile" at the 1st annual Hollywood Music Awards.
