J. Michael Carrigan has been appointed Vice President for the western region covering western and south-central U.S., western Canada and Latin America. Michael J. Sutkowski has been named vice president of eastern region sales with responsibilities for eastern and north central U.S. plus eastern Canada. Thomas S. Garofalo has been appointed vice president and managing director for Asia and Pacific sales operations and managing director, Auspex KK in Japan.

Carrigan brings almost 20 years of sales and operations management to Auspex. Founded in 1979 by Richard J. Egan and Roger Marino, EMC has developed advanced storage and retrieval technologies for the world's largest companies. , where he was most recently US western region general manager with P&L responsibility. Much of his career has been focused on the health care industry. Sutkowski has more than 25 years of computer industry sales management experience with firms such as Unisys, Ardent Software (now Informix) and Data General. Most recently Sutkowski was general manager of channel sales within Data General, a division of EMC. Prior to, Sutkowski was vice president of North American North American

Before this, he was vice president Asia/Pacific for General DataComm, a supplier of hardware and software products serving the data communications industry. His extensive experience includes 21 years with Dupont where he operated many of its electronics business units. He holds a B.S.E.E. from Clarkson University.
