Aurora Organic Dairy previously used a mix of pallet exchange and pallet pooling systems, and determined that the CHEP Portfolio system that manages all pallet transfers is more user-friendly and more effective. The well-known environmental benefits of the CHEP program also played a role in the company's decision.

"We are already seeing improvements in ordering and reporting with the CHEP pooling program, and expect to see decreased costs. The relationship with CHEP also shows the importance we place on the environment, as we are reducing our contribution to the waste stream by using their program," said Clay Powell, Plant Superintendent at Aurora Organic Dairy.

The CHEP pallet pool program is currently deployed at many of the country's leading dairy marketers, and is the shipping platform of choice for much of the US grocery industry.

"Aurora Organic is a growing player in the growing organic and heath foods sector of the US food business, and their shift to CHEP shows the company's commitment to both efficient distribution to their customers and improving the environment," said Chris Murray Chris Murray (b.
