Aurelio Announces Discovery of a Significant, Near-Surface, New Oxide Copper Deposit in the South Courtland Area of the Hill Copper Project, Arizona.

LITTLETON, Colo. -- Aurelio Resource Corporation (OTCBB:AULO) is pleased to announce further favorable results from the Company's drilling program in the South Courtland Area of its wholly owned Hill Copper Project, located in the Turquoise Mining District of Cochise County in southeastern Arizona.

The South Courtland area is centrally located within the 2.5-mile (4-kilometer)-long Hill Copper Project. South Courtland encompasses an area of significant, near-surface heap leachable oxide copper mineralization over significant length (more than 3,000 ft), thicknesses (over 150 ft), and widths (greater than 700 ft). The oxide copper mineralization is associated with primary copper mineralization at depth.

Core holes B-102 and B-104 were exploration holes drilled in the vicinity of the historic Highland and Humbolt Mines, where in-situ copper sulfide resources at depth have been reported to remain. The Highland mine was developed early in the 20th century with a 550-ft-deep shaft and several hundred feet of drifts on the 250- and 350-ft levels; the Humbolt mine, which operated from the late 1890s through 1908, has a 320-ft shaft with drifts on the 100- and 200-ft levels.

The grades encountered in these drill holes compare favorably with other open pit solvent-extraction/electro-winning (SX/EW) copper mines. A preliminary in-house assessment indicates a potential of between 20 to 35 million tons or 200 to 350 million lbs. of additional copper assuming an average grade of 0.5% copper near surface. We expect that the South Courtland Area will add significantly to our existing, in-house estimated, inventory of nearly 800 million lbs. of copper," said Fred Warnaars, Aurelio's President & CEO.
