Aurelio Announces Details of 2008 Exploration & Development Program at Hill Copper-Zinc Project.LITTLETON, Colo. -- Aurelio Resource Corporation (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). : AULO AULO Archives Union List of Ontario project )(FWB (Fixed Wireless Broadband) See fixed wireless. : F3RA) is pleased to announce plans for further exploration and development of the Company's wholly-owned Hill Copper-Zinc Project, located in Cochise County, Arizona Cochise County is located in the southeastern corner of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2000 census its population was 117,755. The county seat is Bisbee. History Cochise County was created on January 3, 1881 out of the eastern portion of Pima County. . Significant Drilling Planned For The Remainder Of 2008 At Hill Copper Leach Project The Company has received approval from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management for a 47,000-foot core drilling program on the MAN unpatented mining claims. Additional drilling is planned for 2008 on patented mining claims elsewhere in the Turquoise Mining District that are also wholly-owned by the Company. Approximately 20,000 feet of the planned and permitted drill program has been designed to further delineate the extent of the leachable chalcocite chalcocite Sulfide mineral, Cu2S, that may be an important ore of copper. It belongs to a group of sulfide minerals formed at relatively low temperatures. Chalcocite alters to native copper and other copper minerals. resource, and provide additional drill and assay data for an independent NI 43-101 resource estimate to be completed by the end of the year. The drilling results will also be incorporated into a pre-feasibility study, planned for 1Q 2009. The Company has signed a comprehensive drilling services agreement with Wilcox Professional Services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products. The Company anticipates that drilling should begin within the next sixty days, subject to drill rig availability. Further Metallurgical met·al·lur·gy n. 1. Using new drill core (approximately 5,000 feet of core from the permitted program), MSRDI will conduct a series of 6-inch diameter by 6-foot high column tests (using crush size that is yet to be determined) over a 60- to 90-day period. At the conclusion of these work programs, MSRDI will provide the Company with preliminary flow sheets and initial engineering recommendations, including estimated operating and design parameters. Log, Sample and Assay of 15,000 Ft. of Historic Drill Core in Chalcocite / Oxide Zones In July 2007, the Company reported that it had successfully acquired 76,780 feet of drill core from 95 holes drilled by Santa Fe Santa Fe, city, Argentina Santa Fe, city (1991 pop. 341,000), capital of Santa Fe prov., NE Argentina, a river port near the Paraná, with which it is connected by canal. Over the next seven months, the Company plans to log, assay and sample approximately 12,000 feet of this historic drill core, focusing on the upper (leachable) intervals of each core hole. The extensive chalcocite blanket identified by Aurelio was essentially ignored by all of the companies who previously drilled in the district. This program will provide geologic information and assay data where none existed before, and the Company anticipates that the net result will be a significant increase in the size of the leachable copper deposit. Assay results will be released as information becomes available. Additional Work Planned For MAN Sulfide Zone at Hill Copper-Zinc Project Lastly, the Company plans further work on the high-grade copper-zinc-gold-silver sulfide mineralization that underlies the Hill Copper Leach Project. Of the 47,000 feet of drilling planned and permitted on the MAN claims, approximately 22,000 feet will be in-fill and step-out drilling within the MAN Area sulfide zone, with limited additional drilling into sulfide targets at Courtland and South Courtland. Priority exploration targets will also be sampled and analyzed. The Company also plans to log, sample and assay approximately 8,000 feet of sulfide zone intercepts from the historic drill core (primarily in the MAN Area). In many of the holes drilled by Santa Fe and others, zinc, gold and silver were ignored (because of then-prevailing metals prices), but will now be examined and assayed. About the Company Aurelio Resource Corporation is a mineral exploration company focused on fast-track development of its wholly-owned Hill Copper-Zinc Project, which the Company believes contains a number of low-cost, bulk-tonnage, open-pit-mineable deposits close to surface containing significant amounts of copper, zinc, silver and gold. The Company has previously announced an independent estimate of the mineralized material at the MAN Area of the Project totaling 63.8 million tons at an average grade of 0.56% copper-equivalent. Aurelio has also acquired the rights to explore, and an option to purchase, the Gavilanes gold porphyry Porphyry, Greek scholar Porphyry (pôr`fĭrē), c.232–c.304, Greek scholar and Neoplatonic philosopher. Information inferred from the interpretation of drilling results and information concerning mineral resource estimates may also be deemed to be forward-looking statements, as it constitutes a prediction of what might be found to be present when and if a project is actually developed. Forward-looking statements in this news release include: that MSRDI has been contracted to continue with metallurgical testwork (bottle roll tests followed by column tests) to determine additional parameters for an SX/EW heap-leach operation at the Hill Copper Leach Project; that the Company intends to begin drilling within the next sixty days subject to drill rig availability; that the Company intends to commission a pre-feasibility study and NI 43-101 resource estimates in 2008 and 2009 on the leachable and sulfide zones of the Hill Copper-Zinc Project; and, that the Company intends to log, sample and assay approximately 20,000 feet of the historic drill core acquired in 2007. It is important to note that the Company's actual outcomes may differ materially from those statements contained in this press release. Factors which may delay or prevent these forward-looking statements from being realized include misinterpretation of data; that we may not be able to keep our qualified personnel; that funds expected to be received may not be; that our estimates of mineral resources Noun 1. mineral resources - natural resources in the form of minerals natural resource, natural resources - resources (actual and potential) supplied by nature are inaccurate; uncertainties involved in the interpretation of drilling results and other tests and the estimation of resources; that we may not be able to get equipment or labor as we need it; that we may not be able to raise sufficient funds to complete our intended exploration, purchase, lease or option payments; that our applications to drill may be denied; that weather, logistical problems or hazards may prevent us from exploration; that analysis of data cannot be done accurately and at depth; that results which we have found in any particular location are not necessarily indicative of larger areas of our property; and that despite encouraging data there may be no commercially exploitable mineralization on our properties.
