Both CP-05-46 and CP-06-47 intersected copper porphyry stockwork, with both the intensity of the mineralization and the copper and gold grades steadily increasing down hole. Results are summarized in the table below, drill hole CP-05-46 has previously been released (PR 28/11/2005).

The Camp copper-gold porphyry target is currently defined by an 800m by 500m intense magnetic anomaly Magnetic Anomaly may refer to:
  • Kursk Magnetic Anomaly
  • Tycho Magnetic Anomaly
that is open to the west. The two hole program was designed to test the existence of more robust mineralization after drill hole CP-05-46 intersected copper porphyry mineralization on the edge of the anomaly late last year (PR 28/11/2005).

The target is covered by post-mineralization conglomerate, with a true thickness of 20m in CP-05-46 and 45m in CP-06-47. Drill hole CP-06-48 was drilled near the western edge of the anomaly, but did not intersect copper-gold porphyry mineralization, instead staying in conglomerate to the end of hole (173.30m). The drill hole defines a fault that offsets the western third of the anomaly to depth. However, the drill hole did intersect a broad zone of pyrite pyrite (pī`rīt) or iron pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–, pī`rīts), pale brass-yellow mineral, the bisulfide of iron, FeS2.   replacement that is anomalous in arsenic, antimony antimony (ăn`tĭmō'nē) [Lat. antimoneum], semimetallic chemical element; symbol Sb [Lat. stibium,=a mark]; at. no. 51; at. wt. 121.75; m.p. 630.74°C;; b.p. 1,750°C;; sp. gr. The Camp porphyry is approximately 20 kilometers south of the Corriente Resources Mirador copper gold deposit and is interpreted to lie within the same copper-porphyry belt.
