Both CP-05-46 and CP-06-47 intersected copper porphyry stockwork, with both the intensity of the mineralization and the copper and gold grades steadily increasing down hole. The target is covered by post-mineralization conglomerate, with a true thickness of 20m in CP-05-46 and 45m in CP-06-47. Drill hole CP-06-48 was drilled near the western edge of the anomaly, but did not intersect copper-gold porphyry mineralization, instead staying in conglomerate to the end of hole (173.30m). The drill hole defines a fault that offsets the western third of the anomaly to depth. However, the drill hole did intersect a broad zone of pyrite pyrite (pī`rīt) or iron pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–, pī`rīts), pale brass-yellow mineral, the bisulfide of iron, FeS2. replacement that is anomalous in arsenic, antimony antimony (ăn`tĭmō'nē) [Lat. antimoneum], semimetallic chemical element; symbol Sb [Lat. stibium,=a mark]; at. no. 51; at. wt. 121.75; m.p. 630.74°C;; b.p. 1,750°C;; sp. gr. (metallic form) 6. and mercury and is interpreted to be epithermal mineralization buried within the conglomerate-filled basin. The Camp porphyry is approximately 20 kilometers south of the Corriente Resources Mirador copper gold deposit and is interpreted to lie within the same copper-porphyry belt.
