AuraGen to Be Exhibited by General Motors Military Trucks at Association of the United States Army Meeting; First AuraGen Installation on GM Duramax Diesel Engine.

Aura Systems, Inc. (OTC:AURA) announced that General Motors Military Trucks will exhibit the AuraGen(R) as its AC/DC AC/DC - [not an acronym] slang for bisexuality

) Meeting, October 16-18 in Washington, D.C. The AUSA Meeting, with over 27,000 in attendance last year, is the premier defense show in the United States and the largest Land Warfare exhibition in the world. As previously announced, the AuraGen has been designated as the AC/DC power generation option for GM Military Trucks' CUCV CUCV - Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle-III.

General Motors Defense has an indoor booth (No. 3214) and an outdoor booth at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel for the AUSA Meeting Exhibition. The AuraGen will be shown in the outdoor booth on the GM Military CUCV-III 3/4 ton truck based on a Silverado chassis with the 6.6 liter Duramax(TM) Diesel Engine.

"The Duramax Diesel 6600 is the most powerful diesel engine ever produced for a heavy-duty pickup or chassis cab..." stated Kevin McFadden, GM Powertrain brand manager of Duramax Diesel in a recent GM press release. In the same release GM also stated that "The Duramax Diesel available this fall as an option in the all new 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 Series pickup and chassis-cab models-is positioned to help GM set new industry standards for diesel power, performance, durability and quiet operation in the growing heavy duty pickup class" (for more information see http://www.gmpowertrain.com/news/powertour.htm).
