Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AUSI AUSI Autonomous Undersea Systems Institute

) announced today that it has received orders from a California State Agency totaling over $157,000 for its AuraGen commercial mobile power system. Recently, in anticipation of considerable additional on-going orders from this California State Agency, Aura has trained numerous state personnel in the installation of the AuraGen. Installations will start in February and be completed by April. The recently trained California State Agency personnel with the aid of Aura's field service staff will do the first installations.

The Agency has found in its years of usage that the AuraGen's performance and reliability with virtually no required maintenance makes it the best product available. In addition, the AuraGen provides this State Agency with an environmentally friendly Environmentally friendly, also referred to as nature friendly, is a term used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal harm on the environment.[1]  alternative to other mobile power solutions. The Agency has been using the AuraGen for "greening" of its fleet that has allowed them to obtain further funding from the California Air Resource Board (CARB).

Mel Gagerman, Aura's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , stated, "This is another example of a customer who tried other mobile power solutions and is now convinced that the AuraGen is the mobile power solution of choice." Mr. Gagerman added, "We have recently learned that the state agency is obtaining funding from CARB due to the 'green status' of the AuraGen power solution. This is another benefit offered by the AuraGen that has not been explored in the past. We will now explore similar opportunities with other California state agencies as well as other states across the country."

The AuraGen is an Aura patented device that is used for mobile power generation. The AuraGen system overall efficiency is approximately double the efficiency of other conventional alternator-based systems. This large increase in efficiency results in a smaller, lighter system that produces the desired electric output close to idle speed Idle speed is the minimum operating speed (generally measured in revolutions per minute, or rpm, of the crankshaft) of a combustion engine. At idle speed, the engine generates enough power to run reasonably smoothly and operate its ancillaries (water pump, alternator, and, if  for gasoline engines gasoline engine: see internal-combustion engine.
