Aura Receives AuraGen/VIPER Reorder from a Major Defense Contractor.

) announced today that it has received a reorder re·or·der

 from a major Aerospace and defense prime contractor in excess of $250,000 for its AuraGen VIPER military mobile power system. Aura is scheduled to start delivery on this order in the beginning of February.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , stated, "This reorder is a sample of what we are experiencing in many industries where old customers are returning after years of trying other mobile power solutions. We are seeing reorders from utilities, telecommunication companies, municipalities, oil and gas and service-oriented companies. In addition to the reorders from old customers, we are seeing an increase in the order rate from new customers in many different industries. We are also experiencing increased opportunities in different branches of the military for many different programs. It is becoming clear to many users that the AuraGen/VIPER is truly a remarkable machine."

Soldiers operating in Iraq and Afghanistan are using the AuraGen VIPER for mobile electric needs in HMMWV HMMWV High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV is a trademark of AM General LLC; aka HUMVEE, also a trademark of AM General LLC)  applications. The VIPER has logged tens of thousands of hours continuous 24/7 operation in hot desert conditions. In one operation the soldiers ran the VIPER for 60 days non-stop and in another operation they ran it continuously for 40 days.
