Aura Completes Shipment of 110 VIPER Systems for the Korean Army.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:AUSI) announced today that it has completed shipping the 110 VIPER order for the South Korean army. This latest shipment brings the total VIPER systems delivered for the Korean army to 300 systems. The shipment is part of a 1,000 unit order of 5kW AC only VIPERs started in 2006 with scheduled deliveries of 100 systems per year.

The Company also received a small new order for a number of 16kW AC/DC VIPERs to be shipped to Korea in December 2009.

Mr. Gagerman, Aura's CEO, said, "We have now shipped 300 VIPER systems to the South Korean army and we are pleased to recently learn that we are being considered for an additional Korean Army program involving 16kW systems. Military uses of our VIPER power system are expanding both domestically and abroad. Domestically, we recently delivered a number of VIPER systems to Sierra-Nevada, a military contractor, as part of a new U.S. military program. We also continue to supply dual VIPER system for the U.S.C.G and other US military users. We are under contract to deliver by the end of the year a 16kW system to the U.S. Army for the RG31 MRAP vehicle, and a number of systems to be delivered in November to Special Forces. We are also teamed with Boeing and Marinette-Marine in a proposal to the U.S. Navy that will require 100kW VIPER systems. We are working with the U.S army on integrating a VIPER system into large army trucks and we are completing the statement of work to develop a 30kW VIPER system for the army. Internationally, in addition to the South Korea army we have significant interest in the VIPER from the Singaporean army."
