Aunt Bessie's British cooking sauce.


Greencore Grocery, the UK's largest manufacturer of cooking sauces, has launched a new range of traditional British casserole-style sauces under licence from Aunt Bessie's.

Launched initially as an exclusive Tesco range, to be sold in the chain's 102 Yorkshire stores, the range of six ambient Surrounding. For example, ambient temperature and humidity are atmospheric conditions that exist at the moment. See ambient lighting.  sauces is the latest extension in the brand's product portfolio. The Aunt Bessie's brand is valued at 174m [pounds sterling] and the product range includes frozen, chilled and ambient foods Ambient food is food which can be stored for long periods at ambient temperature, i.e. without chilling or refrigeration . Examples include Vegemite, pickles, peanut butter and ketchup. .

Identified by consumer research as a natural extension for the brand, the range was developed to capitalise on the growing cooking sauces market, which is worth 485m [pounds sterling] a year*. The collection reflects Aunt Bessie's heartland of traditional British recipes and it is hoped this will add excitement to the traditional sauces sector of the category, which is currently worth 50m [pounds sterling].*
