Ault reports strongly higher second quarter sales and earnings; One of the best quarterly performances in Ault's history.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 1995--Ault Incorporated today reported earnings of $200,000 or $.09 per share for the second quarter of fiscal 1996 ended November 26, an increase of 150% from $80,000 or $.04 per share in the year-earlier period. Sales rose 31% to $7.7 million in the second quarter.

For the first six months of fiscal 1996, earnings increased 111% to $262,000 or $.12 per share, from $124,000 or $.06 per share a year ago. First half sales were up 26% to $14.6 million.

The company said it received record orders of $11,698,000 in the second quarter, which pushed its quarter-ending production backlog Backlog

The total value of sales orders waiting to be fulfilled.
