Ault Foods Limited announces the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board and two new directors.


ETOBICOKE, North Western Territories--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 1996--The Board of Directors for Ault Foods Ault Foods Limited was a Toronto-based dairy processor and Canada's largest dairy company acquiring other dairy companies across Canada. Don Loadman, who provided leadership in guiding Ault through the early years as a public company, resigned from the position of Chairman to pursue personal interests.

Mr. Currie has served on Ault Foods' Board of Directors since 1994. Mr. Currie is a Corporate Director of Meridian Technologies Inc., Corporate Foods Limited, and Lallemand Inc. Mr. Currie has developed extensive experience throughout his career in the food industry; he was Chairman of Corporate Foods and Vice-Chairman of Circo Craft Co. Inc. From 1990 to 1994, he also served as President of Milling and Banking Division of Maple Leaf Foods Maple Leaf Foods TSX: MFI is a major Canadian food processing company.

The company was originally known as Maple Leaf. It was founded in 1927 as a merger of several major Toronto meat packers, most prominently William Davies Co.
