August Technology Expands Worldwide Headquarters by Fifty Percent; Facility Grows From 43,000 to 63,000 Square Feet.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 31, 2000

August Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: AUGT), a leading supplier of inspection equipment to the semiconductor industry, has expanded its headquarters to 63,000 square feet, a fifty percent increase in space over the previous 43,000 square feet occupied by the Company.

"This expansion will provide us with three new clean rooms, an engineering lab, increased production area and additional space for our continually expanding engineering and customer service groups," said David Klenk, August Technology's chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

In the past year August Technology has nearly doubled its employee base and has dramatically increased its production capabilities in response to the high demand for the Company's automated au·to·mate
