August Comm. downsizes; Kenilworth acquires and launches titles.


August Communications (Winnipeg, MT) has sold five of its trade magazines in seperate deals and has ceased publication of a sixth title. No terms for any of the deals were given.

August has sold Canadian Potato Business, a quarterly magazine for growers and distributors, to a new company, Issues, Inc. (Winnipeg, MT). Implement Success has been sold to the title's co-publisher, the Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (Regina, SK). The magazine is a quarterly with a controlled circulation of 2000.
