August Anheuser Busch III (born June 6, 1937) is the great-grandson of Anheuser-Busch founder Adolphus Busch and was the company's Chairman until November 30, 2006.
, chairman of the board, Anheuser-Busch, Inc., received the "Manufacturer of the Year" award from California Manufacturers Association.

Since 1964, this award has been presented each year to the outstanding leader of an industry who has promoted the American free enterprise system, while making significant contributions in the areas of civic affairs, employee relations and industrial progress.

The award was given to Busch on November 8, at the Association's annual Manufacturer of the Year luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel The Beverly Hills Hotel is a hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, at 9641 Sunset Boulevard. It was opened on May 12, 1912 and started by Margaret J. Anderson and her son, Stanley S. Anderson, who had been managing the Hollywood Hotel. . "Anheuser-Busch, under the leadership of August A. Busch III, symbolizes what the |Manufacturer of the Year' award is all about," noted William Campbell, the Association's president. "This great company has never substituted profit for quality, and has been a model corporate citizen, willing to reach out to others."

In accepting the award, Busch said, "Since the opening of our Los Angeles brewery in 1954, we have made major investments in California--in facilities, in personnel, and in community support. We have done our best to play a positive role in the life of this great state."
