Frontline Helps Denny's Parent Become Top Company for Minorities

For the second straight year, Fortune magazine ranked Advantica, the parent company of Denny's, No. 1 on the list of "America's Best Companies for Minorities."

Since 1994, Frontline Group has worked closely with Denny's on diversity training programs. "Our work with Frontline has been integral to our successful efforts to promote diversity and build an inclusive culture," said Aundrea Clark, director of diversity training for Denny's. "Frontline has helped us evolve our training efforts beyond building awareness of diversity issues to making real changes in the behavior of our managers and employees."

The diversity training programs are now in their fourth generation and focus on achieving results through changes in on-the-job behavior for managers and employees.

The new suites combine e-learning with highly interactive classroom training to introduce a new delivery approach for Miller Heiman programs.

Companies are moving toward e-learning because it offers substantial cost savings and reduced training time compared with traditional classroom instruction. Although there are many benefits of learning via the Web, the professional interaction that the classroom offers is indispensable for sales training. To offer clients the best of both worlds, Miller Heiman partnered with the Frontline Group Technology Center in Boulder, Colo., an award-winning e-learning developer with a reputation for high-end instructional design Instructional design is the practice of arranging media (communication technology) and content to help learners and teachers transfer knowledge most effectively. Frontline's E-Learning Takes Skill Development to Application

Frontline Group has introduced its first proprietary e-learning program that combines the best of technology-based learning with the strength of instructor-based feedback to enhance the application of skills and training transfer on the job.

The program, referred to as E-WUF, is the e-learning version of the highly successful one-day classroom program, Write Up Front(R), designed to help individuals improve their business writing skills. Unlike other e-learning writing courses, this program allows students to prepare writing assignments offline and e-mail them to a real person, the writing mentor, for professional review. The Writing Mentor is either an identified individual within the client organization or a Frontline Group Master Trainer designated to provide feedback to students on their written work. This unique feature allows clients to take e-learning to a higher level and apply their newly acquired skills more quickly.

E-WUF is targeted to managers, salespeople sales·peo·ple

In an online environment, turnaround time is the same as response time.  on simple installations and a two-hour seat time for learners, E-WUF is designed for maximum impact in minimum time.
