August 18 Wrigley Field Mega-Sampling Event to Feature Limited Edition Chicago Cubs Retrospective Collector Card.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- PromoWorks(R), the nation's leading provider of marketing services, events and promotions, and Designated Promotional Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs(R), is ready once again to distribute more than 150,000 product samples to over 40,000 baseball fans on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Wrigley Field.

PromoWorks has designed a retrospective limited edition Cubs collector scratch-and-win card featuring the history of the Cubs team logo and Cubs players past and present including: Adrian (Cap) Anson (1876 - 1897); Mordecai Mordecai (môr`dēkī, môr'dēkā`ī), cousin and guardian of Esther. (Three Finger) Brown (1904 - 1912, 1916); Roger Hornsby (1929 - 1932); Ernie Banks (1953 - 1971); Ron Santo (1960 - 1973); Ryne Sandberg (1982 - 1994, 1996 - 1997); Gred Maddux (1986 - 1992, 2004 - 2006); and Carlos Zambrano (2001 - present). These numbered cards will be handed to the first 20,000 fans in the gate on game day and will provide each a chance to win one of 500 exciting prizes from various brand sponsors.

Featured brand sponsors in this upcoming mega-sampling event will include Chicago's own Asha SalonSpa, Breyers(R) Ice Cream, Emerald(R) Nuts, Kellogg's(R), and Kimberly-Clark.

Top executives from many of the participating brands are always in attendance to observe the event execution. Don Quigley, President of North American Consumer Brands for Kimberly-Clark commented on the last event, "I had a chance to observe the PromoWorks samplers in action. They were well prepared; wearing the HUGGIES(R) Bath and Body brand tee-shirts...they were ready for all the fans, cheerful and worked the crowd. From start to finish, PromoWorks people were timely and made certain all the elements worked as promised, exceeding my expectations. I bet that we'll do it again..." And Kimberly-Clark is once again a brand sponsor for the upcoming August 18 event.

As the exclusive sampling services provider for the Chicago Cubs since 2004, PromoWorks regularly hosts single and multi-brand promotional events at Wrigley Field. For more information contact PromoWorks at 1-888-310-3555 or visit www.PromoWorks.com.
