1999 Form 10-K and 2000 Forms 10-Q Expected to be Filed

Dynamex Inc. (AMEX:DDN) today announced the completion of BDO Seidman's audit of the fiscal years ending July 31, 1997, 1998 and 1999. The Company expects to file its Form 10-K for the year ended July 31, 1999 on Friday, June 30, 2000. The Company will issue a press release discussing the results of the audit and the contents of the Form 10-K in the near future.

BDO Seidman currently is completing their review of the financial statements for the three months and nine months ending April 30, 2000 in accordance with new SEC rules mandating independent auditor reviews of quarterly financial statements. The Company also expects to file its Forms 10-Q for the first three quarters of fiscal year 2000 on June 30, 2000. A press release discussing the results of the first three quarters will be issued by the Company following the filing of the Forms 10-Q.

After the staff of the American Stock Exchange has had time to review the filings for compliance with the Exchange's continued listing guidelines, the Company anticipates trading in its common stock may resume in the near future.
