Audion(R) Laboratories Unveils VoxPro(R) v4.0 at National Association of Broadcasters Conference (NAB) in Philadelphia.


BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. -- PRODUCT SHIPS SEPTEMBER 30, 2005

Audion Laboratories, Inc., a leader in digital audio software development, will unveil version 4.0 of their VoxPro(R) software at the NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia, USA, September 21 - 23. VoxPro PC v4.0 is slated for shipment on September 30, 2005.

In addition to many new features that will be readily visible to all users, there are also several important changes "under the hood under the hood - [hot-rodder talk] 1. VoxPro PC 4.0 represents a considerable advance on the current version of the software, and offers a range of exciting new features, including:

Zoom. VoxPro's new 100X zoom allows quick exact editing.

Markers. Mark while recording or playing back. VoxPro shows a floating window with time line position and marker titles. Right clicking a title allows note editing and auto play form the marker.

. VoxPro's AGC boosts the timid and limits the loud on either or both channels. The peak program VU meter A VU meter is often included in analog audio equipment to display a signal level in volume units.

It is intentionally a "slow" measurement, averaging out peaks and troughs of short duration to reflect the perceived loudness of the material.
