Voice on the Net Tradeshow - AudioCodes Ltd. This alliance will result in a powerful platform that delivers voice-enabled services and applications over broadband packet networks. For the first time, Telephony Service Providers (TSPs) and Application Service Providers (ASPs) will be able to integrate and aggregate virtually any media application on a single, highly reliable and scalable IP platform. This ability will allow service providers to quickly offer new and innovative service bundles to its clients not previously possible with legacy switching equipment.

This development and marketing alliance will focus on integrating Tundo's Distributed Open Telephony Operating System(TM) (DOT-OS(TM)) and AudioCodes' IPmedia(TM) Server platform. The combination of Tundo software and AudioCodes hardware is named IPmedia Application Platform(TM) (IP-MAP(TM)). IP-MAP will be available in early 2001, and will be offered by Tundo to application service providers, value-added resellers (VARs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and application developers.

Using IP-MAP, voice application developers can take advantage of a highly scalable, reliable and cost-effective platform for building applications. This frees them from the familiar problems of hardware integration, thus supporting their move into the next generation of packet networks and the ASP market while leveraging their existing software investment. By building on these applications constructed on IP-MAP, service providers can offer enhanced voice services -- including unified messaging, interactive voice response (IVR), conferencing, speech recognition, and customer relationship management -- to customers on a single, open IP telephony service platform. These providers can mix and match best of breed applications from multiple vendors, and rapidly deploy new combinations of value-added telephony services to business and residential users.
