AudioBasket Enters Into Content and Distribution Deal With Time Inc.; Agreement Allows Online Audio Distribution of Time Inc. Magazines.

AudioBasket, the premier provider of customized audio news and information on demand, today announced a comprehensive content and distribution agreement with Time Inc. AudioBasket will offer a wide range of audio news and entertainment features from Time Inc.'s portfolio of magazines and Web sites.

Under the terms of the agreement, seven Time Inc. magazines -- Time, Fortune, Money, Entertainment Weekly, People, Fortune Small Business, and Time Digital -- will provide AudioBasket with regularly updated audio content. Listeners will have their choice of programs like film and video reviews from Entertainment Weekly and commentary from Time Digital technology writer Josh Quittner Joshua Quittner is an American journalist. He is editor of Business 2.0, which he joined in April 2002 after seven years at Time Inc. where he served as technology editor for Time Magazine and its technology supplement Time Digital (later called . Users of the AudioBasket service will be able to add these features to their personal audio news programs, which they can access wherever they see the AudioBasket logo on the Internet. Time Inc. will also provide increased presence for the AudioBasket service through the company's contributing Web properties.
