CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1999--

Audio-Tips, a comprehensive destination site for the blind community, today announced a partnership with Lipstream, a leader in PC-to-PC live voice communication over the Internet Internet

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
, to enable voice chat on Audio-Tips.com.

The partnership's goal is to bring the blind and sighted communities together to talk free of charge, exchange ideas and learn about volunteer opportunities through voice chat rooms on Audio-Tips (www.audio-tips.com).
