Audio Premastering Added To Microtech's Desktop CD-R Production Application.

Microtech Systems(TM) (www.microtech.com) has just announced that its remote, desktop application interface, MyDisc(TM), will now premaster audio discs as well as data discs.

It is compatible with Red Book audio formats.

MyDisc communicates directly with all models of Microtech's ImageAutomator(TM) CD-R (CD-Recordable) A writable CD technology using a type of compact disc that can be recorded, but not erased (CD-Rs are "write once" discs). CD-R discs are used to master CD-ROMs, to back up data and to make copies of data for distribution.  production systems, allowing everyone in an organization to use a CD-R production center like a shared peripheral. Each PC workstation with MyDisc allows a local user to select files to be burned on a CD and transfer them electronically to an ImageAutomator CD-R system for disc recording and printing.
