Audible (NASDAQ: ADBL) and Card Access announced today the retail availability of the Audible Advisor(TM), the Springboard(TM) module for the Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) that plays Audible's ever-growing collection of downloadable audio editions of books, newspapers, magazines, radio shows and original programs.

With 16MB of storage capacity, the Audible Advisor is capable of storing and playing back more than 4.4 hours of Audible's Internet-delivered audio. Audible Advisor is priced at $129.95 (MSRP). However, as an introductory special, the Audible Advisor will be priced at $49.95 with the customer's participation in Audible's BasicListener(TM) flat-rate monthly membership plan for one year. BasicListener allows for the download of any audiobook from Audible's collection of more than 3,500, as well as a subscription to one of the more than 25 audio versions of newspapers and magazines, radio programs and original programs for $12.95 each month.
