Audible Launches UK Web Site; Following its Huge Success in the US, Audible Launches the UK Web site for British Lovers of Digital Audio Information and Entertainment.

In addition, the audiobooks and other content are usually priced 30% less than CD or cassette tape equivalents.

Audible customers in the UK can now choose to buy a single title or subscribe to a recurring subscription and have it automatically delivered to their desktop computer or mobile device before they get up in the morning or leave the office for the day. A variety of subscriptions are available to suit all customers' needs, including:

--GBP 14.99 a month: customers choose two audiobooks per month;

--GBP 9.49 a month: customers choose one audio book and receive one free periodical subscription per month.

If customers commit to a year's subscription they will receive a free digital audio device.
