Audible Announces Support for Creative MuVo TX, MuVo TX FM, MuVo Micro, and MuVo Slim Digital Audio Players.

WAYNE, N.J. -- Downloadable Audiobooks and All of Audible.com's 58,000 Hours of Spoken Word Audio Now Available to Users of Creative MuVo TX, MuVo TX FM, MuVo Micro, and MuVo Slim Audio Players

Audible, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBL), the leading provider of digitally delivered spoken word audio, today announced that the Creative MuVo TX, MuVo TX FM, MuVo Micro, and MuVo Slim portable digital audio players are now fully AudibleReady(R) and compatible with the Audible(R) Internet audio service.

In a co-marketing effort for Audible's flagship AudibleListener(R) flat-rate monthly membership program, users of MuVo TX, MuVo TX FM, MuVo Micro, and MuVo Slim players will be offered one free month of AudibleListener, Audible's unique membership plan that offers audio programming online that would otherwise cost more than $50 on tape or CD. Users will be able to choose between PremiumListener(R), a package of any two audiobooks from Audible's industry-leading collection of 6,000 titles (regularly $21.95), or BasicListener(R), one audiobook and one 1-month subscription (regularly $14.95) from Audible's Subscription Center.

All Creative MuVo TX, MuVo TX FM, MuVo Micro, and MuVo Slim players are 'field upgradeable,' meaning that users of these devices who go to www.audible.com/software and install the free AudibleManager desktop software can install a firmware upgrade that enables storage and playback of Audible's valuable audio programs.

The MuVo 256MB devices can store and play more than 30 hours of Audible's audio files in Audible Format 3, while the MuVo 512MB devices have the capacity to store and play more than 60 hours of Audible audio. The MuVo Micro 1 GB device can store and play back more than 125 hours of Audible's downloadable audiobooks and other spoken word audio programs.
