AuctionDrop, the original eBay drop-off store, today announced the opening of its fifth company-owned store in the Westgate West shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  at 5379 Prospect Road in San Jose, California San Jose (IPA: /ˌsænhoʊˈzeɪ/) is the third-largest city in California, and the tenth-largest in the United States. AuctionDrop has sold over 14,000 items since its first store opened in March 2003. Total gross merchandise sales have exceeded $1.6 million. AuctionDrop is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
