Auction Universe Unites With Premiere Radio Networks' Blair Garner to Help Tornado Victims.

Online Auction Benefit Will Run From May 17 Through May 30

Auction Universe (www.auctionuniverse.com) has joined with Premiere Radio Networks' Blair Garner Blair Garner is the host of the syndicated radio programs After MidNite with Blair Garner and The Blair Garner Show. As a country music air personality he won the Academy of Country Music's On-Air Personality of the Year award in 2004 and 2006 and has also been , host of the "After MidNite" radio program, in his effort to help the tornado victims in Oklahoma and Kansas. Auction Universe has established an online benefit auction, which will run May 17 through May 30. Country music musicians and celebrities such as Steve Wariner, Billy Ray Cyrus and Blair Garner have donated personal one-of-a-kind items for inclusion in the online event. Many of the items are a country music fan's dream.

 hundreds of families," explains Larry Schwartz, president and general manager of Auction Universe. "When we heard what Blair Garner and Premiere Radio Network were doing, we thought a benefit auction would be another great addition to raise much needed funds."

Initially, the fund raising effort for the tornado victims started when Blair Garner challenged his listeners to contribute to the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  Disaster Relief Fund in support of the tornado victims in Kansas and Oklahoma. The fundraising drive runs through May 19, and will culminate with Garner and Billy Ray Cyrus paying a personal visit to the affiliate station with the most substantial donations.
