Auchan Selects BusinessObjects XI to Support Reporting Needs.

Auchan will deploy Business Objects solutions progressively throughout the company, starting with Auchan France Hypermarches stores. The retailer will also form an expertise center which will advise on best practices as it installs the software throughout the company.

Auchan selected Business Objects over competitors Cognos, Microsoft, and MicroStrategy after carrying out a technical review of each vendor's solution. The retailer was seeking to build an architecture designed to address a wide spectrum of reporting needs.
