Atypon Systems, a leading technology provider for the information industry, today announced at Online Information 2002 the introduction of a program of services for publishers of all sizes.

The first two of these services are now available:
-- PDFplus adds reference and other links to PDFs and reduces download size, making PDFs a cost-effective and highly functional alternative for delivering content. Links can be added to CrossRef, abstracting and indexing and other databases, and more.

-- LINKplus removes all the headaches of establishing up-to-date linking within documents by providing full XML linking files for publisher content in a matter of days. Links can be added to CrossRef, abstracting and indexing and other databases, and more. Atypon will also deposit all linking data into CrossRef, PubMed, and other abstracting and indexing databases.

Atypon's new services were developed from the firm technology foundation created for publisher services such as the Academic Press' IDEAL Library, Blackwell Synergy The enhanced result of two or more people, groups or organizations working together.
