Attunity's Professional Services Group Enables DuPont Tyvek(R)in Richmond, Virginia to Maximize Efficiency with Legacy Data Integration

and Shop Floor Replacement

Attunity Ltd. The new system is a state-of-the-art client/server application, that reduces maintenance time and costs, while also improving transaction speeds from minutes to seconds.

Attunity's Professional Services Group helped DuPont to minimize the production costs of Tyvek(R)--tough, durable sheet products stronger than paper and more versatile than fabrics, made from high-density polyethylene fibers--through the development of a more efficient product tracking and inventory system. Attunity guided DuPont through the selection and deployment of all hardware and software required for the new system. DuPont also utilized Attunity software to facilitate the transfer of legacy data from an existing mainframe database onto a Windows NT platform. With the new system developed by Attunity and DuPont, DuPont is now able to track rolls of Tyvek(R) more effectively, providing more accurate and timely information about production and inventory. The system has also enabled faster response time on the shop floor, a reduction in IT maintenance requirements and increased end-user satisfaction.
