ISLAMABAD, July 12, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has annouced discounted tour packages especially designed for families, couples and students which include transport, accommodation, breakfast and guide services, to encourage the natuer lovers. Scheduled to start on 1st and 15th of every month from Rawalpindi, tours can be booked from PTDCs Tourist Information Centres (TCs) located in Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta, Multan, Bahawalpur and Islamabad.A daily Tourist Bus Service has also been started between Rawalpindi and Naran in Kaghan Valley. PTDC Motels in Gilgit, Hunza, Ghizer, Skardu are upgraded and refurbished to offer maximum comfort and facilities for tourists. With the advent of summer holidays, Northern Areas, Kaghan Valley Murree, Galliat and Azad Kashmir are awaiting Pakistani tourists where PTDC has made elaborate arrangements to facilitate them.With the prime objective of promotion of tourism in remote and under-developed areas, PTDC launched its Motels subsidiary in 1976.
