Materials in the libraries come from ATLA members willing to share their expertise with colleagues. Focusing on increasing the number of documents in a library is crucial to growing the group's membership, and it provides access to key documents for group members.

To contribute documents to a library, members may submit their materials to the Exchange in either paper or electronic form. Mail materials to the ATLA Exchange, 1050 31st St., N.W., Washington, DC 20007-4499, or send them via e-mail to exchange@atlahq.org. Members can also upload materials online to a document library by visiting www.exchange.atla.org. Click on "Section/Litigation Group Document Libraries," then "Upload Documents to Your Library," and follow the directions on screen.

Document libraries are fully text-searchable and have enhanced security features. Every document is designated for group members only or for nongroup members who are ATLA plaintiff lawyers. The secured system verifies the user's membership in a particular section or group.
