Attorney David Griffith Eisenstein Opposes Mary Kay's Attempts to Seal Court Records.

SAN DIEGO -- Robin Blackmon-Dunda, former Mary Kay Inc. Seminar Queen and Sales Director who built one of the company's most successful Sales Units over a 17 year career, but was terminated by the company in August, 2006 without any compensation for the loss of her business and without being permitted by Mary Kay to sell it, is opposing her former company's attempt to seal pretrial discovery records and deposition transcripts. Her case against the global, multi-billion dollar direct sales company is set to be tried before a jury beginning on April 21, 2008.

Her attorney, David Griffith Eisenstein, a San Diego based litigator who represents key distributors who claim to have been wrongfully terminated by major MLM/Direct Sales companies, has filed the Opposition to Mary Kay's motion for protective order in the 160th District Court in Dallas, where a hearing will be held on October 19th on the issue of whether to seal documents obtained by either side during the discovery phase of the proceedings. Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Rule 76a, a copy of which has also been posted on David Griffith Eisenstein's website at the page referenced above, provides that any interested person may intervene in the motion to oppose the sealing of court records, and if such an appearance is made, would have standing to appeal the results of the motion, separate and apart from the merits of the pending case.

Eisenstein, who will be traveling to Texas on Thursday, October 11th to speak as an expert on MLM wrongful termination issues at an industry seminar sponsored by the Network Marketing Business Journal on Friday morning, October, 12th at the Comfort Inn, DFW North at 5000 W.
